Live at the Doll Museum in Worthington, Ohio
We're thrilled to share that Living Image is officially live at the Doll Museum at the Old Rectory in Worthington, Ohio.
Walk in, open the app, point it at an object, and meet its history. The mechanical tiger roars. Iconic Buddy Lee commercials play. Stories that used to live on a placard — or nowhere at all — come to life in your hands.
Scan an object, meet its history
Museums are full of objects with extraordinary stories, but those stories are hard to tell. A small label can only hold so much, and not every visitor stops to read it. We wanted to close the gap between seeing something and understanding it — instantly, naturally, the moment your curiosity is sparked.
At the Doll Museum, that means you can:
- Bring objects to life with motion, sound, and video
- Hear the stories and context behind what you're looking at
- Explore the history of included objects throughout the collection
No tour guide required, no waiting, no hunting for the right placard. Just point and discover.
No QR codes — the Living Lens recognizes the object itself
Here's the part we're most proud of. We didn't ask the Doll Museum to plaster QR codes across their exhibits.
Instead, Living Image uses the Living Lens — our AI-powered visual recognition. You point your phone at an object, and the Lens identifies the object itself. No stickers, no codes, no clutter competing with a century-old artifact for your attention.
For visitors, it feels like magic: you look at something, and it tells you its story. For the museum, it means their exhibits stay exactly as they were designed to be seen — and using the management console, they can add, update, and enrich content over time — with live updates to the mobile app — without ever reprinting a single sign.
That's the whole idea behind Living Image: discovery should feel as effortless as looking.
Why this launch matters to us
We're based in Columbus, Ohio, and Worthington is right here in our backyard. The Doll Museum at the Old Rectory is exactly the kind of place Living Image was built for — a collection rich with history, run by people who care deeply about sharing it. Partnering with them to give guests a brand-new way to interact with their collection is exactly the future we imagined when we started.
Seeing the collection come to life for guests — in a museum just minutes from our office — is exactly why we built Living Image.
